E4 Youth is moving to our 1st brick-and-mortar space – What Once Was (WOW) Heritage Center

As an extension of the What Once Was (WOW) platform and programs, E4 Youth is partnering with the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) to launch our first brick-and-mortar space—the WOW Heritage Center—by the end of 2025. Located at Rosewood Courts, the first public housing community for African Americans in the U.S., the center will serve as a hub for cultural preservation and creative learning. It will feature guided tours, workshops, school curriculum, a production studio for capturing oral histories and performances, and space for community events.
