The What Once Was (WOW) Heritage Center will be a gathering place where history, creativity, and innovation come alive. To bring this vision to life, we’re beginning with the most important step: listening.
At our upcoming Homecoming event, we’re launching Phase 1 of our Capital Campaign, with a goal of raising $50,000 to support a community engagement process. These funds will allow us to:
Host conversations with students, educators, artists, and neighbors.
Co-create programming that reflects the culture and needs of our community.
Ensure the WOW Center is built with, not just for, the people it serves.
This first phase is about shaping the future together. Every contribution helps us create a space rooted in heritage, belonging, and the boundless creativity of young people.
